🌍 INNOVATE-EU proposed training program in 2025 to empower deeptech startups across Europe. 

The international acceleration program INNOVATE-EU ran in 2025, aiming to bridge the innovation gap between Europe’s leading and emerging regions; the 2025 edition is now closed and the program is planned to reopen in 2026.

Funded by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), INNOVATE-EU supports deeptech startups in Greentech, Agrifood, ICT, and Medtech to scale their innovations and connect with key actors in Europe’s dynamic innovation ecosystems.

🔗 Why It Matters

Europe’s innovation landscape suffers from fragmentation, often leaving startups and scaleups in moderate or emerging innovator regions without the support they need to scale. INNOVATE-EU tackles this head-on by:

  •   Building cross-border connections
  •   Providing hands-on support and training
  •   Giving startups access to investors and pilot customers
  •   Creating an inclusive European startup community

🚀 What is INNOVATE-EU?

INNOVATE-EU is a two-year EU-funded initiative that brings together eight partners from five countries – Germany, Romania, Spain, Latvia, and Lithuania – to strengthen regional innovation capacity and build a pan-European startup support community.
